SILOX is a thin coating based on amorphous quartz which allows coating the part with a layer with chemical-physical characteristics similar to those of glass. The advantages are high transparency (99%), total chemical inertia and good scratch resistance (800 HV hardness). The deposit thicknesses range from a few nanometres up to 5 μm thus making it possible to coat parts with very tight tolerances.

Currently, the main fields of application are in the optical sector for resistance to opacification and UV, and the household sector for its stain-resistant and scratch-resistant properties which enable it to be used in the field of industrial electromechanics.
The total non-toxicity and the complete absence of heavy metals or solvents make it suitable for application in any sector.
